Givetplace Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Givetplace (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Platform Overview

Givetplace is a community-driven online marketplace for the exchange of gifts. Users may post gift requests (“Announcements”) and fulfill others’ requests to earn in-app credits (“Credits”). Credits are used solely to post Announcements within the Platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Givetplace. You agree to provide accurate information and complete any required verification processes.

4. Credits

• Credits are earned by fulfilling gift requests or purchased via Stripe.
• Credits have no cash value, are non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for money, goods, or services outside the Platform.
• Credits are non-transferable and may not be sold, exchanged, or transferred between users.
• All credit purchases are final.

5. User Conduct

You agree to:

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
• Not post or exchange prohibited, illegal, or regulated items (including weapons, controlled substances, or adult content).
• Not attempt to circumvent moderation, abuse the credit system, or engage in fraudulent activity.

6. Moderation and Safety

Givetplace reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or take other actions to enforce these Terms and maintain a safe community. Automated and manual systems are used to detect and prevent abuse.

7. Payments

All payments for Credits are processed via Stripe. No funds are transferred between users. By purchasing Credits, you agree to Stripe’s terms and all purchases are non-refundable.

8. Termination

Givetplace may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Givetplace is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the fulfillment of any gift request. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Givetplace disclaims all liability for damages arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Privacy

Your use of Givetplace is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
